How many times have you heard someone say 'It's the cut that's important' or when describing a hairdresser they say 'They're such a good cutter'

The cut really is one of the most important elements of hairdressing. Without the right cut nothing else that follows will be correct or good.

A good consultation will enable the stylist to work out what style will work for you. It takes into account your hair type, lifestyle, face shape etc. to allow the stylist to create a style that will not only compliment you but make you shine!

Some people want a style that they want to take time to style and others want to wash, flick and run. When deciding on having your hair cut take time to look at pictures, magazines, websites etc to see what styles are available. People have always thought it a cliche to take a picture to the hairdressers but it isn't. A picture says a thousand words and different photographs of styles allows the stylist to get an idea of what you like and dislike.

Don't be afraid to ask for advice and help from the stylist, this is after all their area of expertise and they will be only too willing to talk you through different options.
